Democracy MVP Website REdesign
As a Creative Designer for Michigan Advertising and Marketing (MAM), I was tasked with redesigning key pages for Democracy MVP. Democracy MVP is an initiative under the Michigan Department of State, and their main mission is to recruit election workers.

Initial Website Critiques
☹ Unnecessarily long scrolls
☹ Order and placement of key info seems arbitrary and hidden in large blocks of text
☹ Overall design is very static
Design Approach
After validating the UX problems through group discussion, I listed the constraints I was working within and planned out how I might reconcile the two. Because I was limited to redesigning the Democracy MVP sign-up page, I had to follow the existing color scheme, typography, and vertical layout. With that in mind, I sought to resolve the page's poor visual hierarchy, lack of intuitive visuals for the phrase 'Democracy MVP', and overabundance of static text.
